OPERAtunities 2022 – Kahea Youth Opera
Now Accepting Summer Registration for Grades 5-12!
In partnership with Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, we’re adapting Mozart’s Magic Flute to tell the tales of special places here in Hawai’i. This three-week summer program is welcome to students grades 5 through graduating seniors and will conclude with a fully staged production on June 30 and July 1, 2022. Participants will get hands-on with props, costumes, and set design while receiving world-class instruction in audition techniques, stage makeup, drama and vocal skills.
All activities will take place at the UH Manoa Music Department:
June 13 to July 1, 2022 • Monday to Friday from 1pm to 5pm • $350 per student
