Enson Inoue ’85 — About His Bracelets

When Enson began selling bracelets as a fundraiser 15 years ago for victims of the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami leading to the Fukushima nuclear disaster, I asked him if he could design a Jr. Bow Special bracelet for me. He did, and I bought two, one for me, and one for one of my classmates.

Up until this past Thursday, that meant there existed only two. However, when I visited his store on Thursday, another Jr. Bow happened to be there. He admired my bracelet so much that he ended up buying one.

This got me thinking that there might be other Jr. Bows who would like to own a Jr. Bow Special, too. So now’s your chance.

This green and white Jr. Bow special is made up of white onyx, crystal quartz, green aventurine and green howlite beads. These are good for strength, deflecting negative energy, general protection, prosperity, enhanced communication, and good luck. The center bead is etched with Enson’s signature Yamatodamashi kanji.

The cost in $165 + tax. The last day to order one is Tuesday, November 3rd as Enson’s store here will be closing down permanently while he and his wife Sarah look for another location to open sometime in 2027. Also, there is a 20% off assortment of bracelets and keychains, as Enson is looking to reduce inventory due to the permanent closing of the store.

The store will be open every day through Tuesday, November 3rd, 11am – 7pm daily.

No appointment is needed.

Location: Suite 206, 1019 Waimanu Street, Honolulu. (Up the Mauka staircase)

Go Jr. Bows.
