HI CARES
The State Department of Health (DOH) Hawaii CARES program is a free service aimed to connect our local service providers with residents who need:

Assistance with crisis
Assistance with mental health or anxiety
Assistance with thoughts of suicide
Assistance with substance use disorder Immediate assistance through Crisis Mobile Outreach

YouthLine Hawaii
YouthLine provides help and crisis intervention to all young people up to age 24 by providing a space to speak with their peers in safe and confidential space. Addressing the nationwide shortage of behavioral health providers and barriers to care, this program ensures that young people have access to immediate support when they need it.

Youth are available daily from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. HST and adults answer at all other times.
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Hawaii
American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a volunteer-led organization dedicated to helping those affected by suicide through research, education, advocacy, and support. The Hawaii chapter focuses on community education, prevention awareness, survivor support, and strengthening protective factors across our islands.
