Aloha #WriterSaturday, I hope you are coping well with sheltering in. Today’s #WritingPrompt is
mom
Use it to inspire a piece of writing, and then post your piece as a comment below. We would all love to read it : )
As a former English teacher at the Lab School, I know Jr. Bows can write. I’m also proud to say, that as a Junior Bow myself, I did learn how to write from people like Jim Harstad.
Let’s do it. Write any length, short or long, a poem, an anecdote, a full-blown story, or anything else you want to try.
A mini-dialog between you and your mom. The best thing your mom ever did for you. The best thing you ever did for your mom. Missing your mom. Give it a try.

Hint #2: The box in the foreground is sitting on a bench. Notice how the bench is reflected. The box is reflected as well, but on two surfaces. Bill is reflected in the top surface of the object. That black line running down the middle on Bill’s face is not part of the reflective surface. It is the post of a music stand next to the bench.
What was I doing? I had to download and manipulate the image to see it more clearly. The real question is this: what did I wish I were doing at that moment?

I can guess with nearly 100% surety that you wished you were drinking a beer at that moment : ) I’ll post the answer after a day or two. Let’s see if there are any further guesses : )
