Miss Kunioka’s recipe for Peanut Butter Chews

This is the only card, I believe, with her recipe. Note the Home Recipe measurements on the left side. I’m guessing the 25 minutes is and indication of cooking time, but I can’t see at what temperature. Once again, I leave it to the chefs to figure out how this should be made.


  1. So sorry to hear about Miss Kunioka, but glad my brother’s class (of ’63) got to honor her. Thank you for posting her recipes. To this day, I try to imitate her Spanish Rice recipe, always hoping there was some of it left over to take home when I worked in the cafeteria and it was the lunch of the day.
