Revised 07.23: Okay, longtime cafeteria goddess, Grace Kusuhara ’53, has provided a true small-batch home recipe.
11 oz. AP flour
1 Tbsp. + 1/2 tsp. B Powder
14 oz. G. Sugar
4 1/2 oz. Brown Sugar
3 oz. Butter
8 1/2 oz. Peanut Butter
3 eggs
Mix ingredients. Scoop w/ cookie #40. Slightly press cookie. Cookie will spread to about 3″ circles. Bake in 350 degree oven for 11 – 15 minutes.

So sorry to hear about Miss Kunioka, but glad my brother’s class (of ’63) got to honor her. Thank you for posting her recipes. To this day, I try to imitate her Spanish Rice recipe, always hoping there was some of it left over to take home when I worked in the cafeteria and it was the lunch of the day.
