Ellie was one of four mothers selected by the American Lung Association and Hawaii’s Mother’s Day Council as The Outstanding Mother this year.
The selected candidates are community leaders who are philanthropists balancing their work with nurturing their families.
Honorees helped secure financial support to aid in the fight against lung disease through donations or table sponsorships for a gala event where the honorees are recognized for their accomplishments as businesswomen, philanthropists, and most importantly, as mothers. This year, the four secured revenues which were 30% over last year.
