Aloha from Las Cruces! I was fortunate enough to graduate with my Bachelors in Criminal Justice, Bachelors of Arts in Government, and Supplementary Major of Arts in Law & Society. I’ve started this summer continuing my education here at New Mexico State University by pursuing my Masters in Criminal Justice with my thesis involving research on the CJ system and its minority group impact. Afterward, I aim to go to school for my PhD. I’ve been fortunate enough to be working for Child Protective Services here in New Mexico as well. Once COVID passes, my goal is to join local law enforcement here in Las Cruces, then be lateralled into a federal position, specifically as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent. I miss my ‘ohana and island dearly. However my work, research, and life here in the borderlands isn’t done yet!
